About us
Grene Sportsgrounds was formed over 30 years ago in County Limerick and has grown from providing services to local GAA and Rugby Clubs, to offering a range of sportsgrounds services for sporting clubs and schools of all sizes, as well as golf, cricket and race courses.
We have worked for some time with Thomond Park Limerick, TUS Gaelic Grounds, UL Bohemians, Crescent Comprehensive School and many other clubs and schools.
Some of our services include Grounds Maintenance and Cutting, Pitch Construction and Drainage, Sanding, Vertidraining & Shockwaving, Renovation Works such as Seeding & Topdressing, Pitch Lining and other Match Preparations.
We focus on ensuring excellent surfaces for sport alongside care for the local environment. We work to avoid unnecessary irrigation since this brings additional costs and could adversely affect local waterways.
Grene Sportsgrounds actively works to reduce the use of chemical treatments and are glad to participate in the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan to protect our beautiful country.
